Sunday Worship
In-Person Worship
We offer 3 worship services at 8:30am, 9:00am & 11:00am on Sunday mornings.
Traditional services are held at 8:30am & 11:00am in The Sanctuary worship space and our 9:00am Contemporary services are held in the Fellowship Hall worship space.
Virtual Worship
Our 11:00am service is live streamed every Sunday on our YouTube Channel
as well as our Facebook page @jamestownumc.
We work very hard to provide a quality service both in-person and through live streaming. However, as technology can often be unpredictable, we ask for your patience and grace. In the event of technical difficulties, the service will be recorded and posted shortly after its completion.
Parking and Entry
Our church located right next the Jamestown Town Hall on Main St. in
the heart of Jamestown.
We have several parking options, along the side of our building, behind the building
and Town Hall allows us to use their lot across the street for overflow.
Our building is large and can be a bit intimidating. We welcome you to enter any of the
noted entrances on Sunday mornings. We have "Shepherd's Team" members located around the grounds and entries to welcome you and help direct you if you have any questions.
Sunday Morning worship for 8:30am & 11:00am main entrances are at the side of the Sanctuary. Nine on Main at 9:00am entrance is at the Fellowship Hall worship spaces.
If you stop by during the week, it's best to enter through the back parking lot to the entry under the portico. For security purposes and the safety of the children in our JUMP program, we ask that you ring the door bell and introduce yourself in order to be admitted.
Events and Activities
We are a busy church with a lot of events and activities for everyone. We love our community and support it by offering community activities, events and collections like our Annual Pumpkin Patch, Trunk or Treat, Food Drives, VBS, Backpacks of Love, the Blessing Box, our Outreach Thrift Store just to name a few.

Children
Sunday Morning Childcare
Childcare is available from 8:15am to 12:15pm for children ages 6 weeks to 4 years (pre-K). You can drop your children off in rooms 107 and 109. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Wendy Barnes at wendy@jumc.org.

*Every Sunday evening the JUMC children, ages 4 yrs. - 5th grade, meet for a time of fun, food, fellowship, singing, and learning. The evening begins with children’s choir, directed by Teresa Allred, where the children praise God as they learn worship songs along with hand motions.
Following choir, the children gather in the Fellowship Hall to eat dinner together and fellowship.
Once their bellies are full, the students will have their Bible lesson where they will learn about the books of the Bible and the stories they tell us about God. After digging into Scripture there is free time for the children to enjoy playing games and hanging out with one another. We invite students to join in this fun-filled time.

Jamestown Youth Ministry (JYM)
We hope that your students will join us and find friends on Sunday nights through sharing in a time of fellowship, Bible study, and small groups. We meet weekly throughout the school year (with exception to holidays and school breaks).

Church Office Hours
8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday
The church office closes for lunch between 1:15 - 2:15pm Monday - Thursday. During this time, you will receive a message recording when you call and the doors will not be monitored for building access. If you have an appointment with a staff member, that staff member will meet you at the door to let you in. Building access is by appointment only during this time.
