People ages 55+ are invited to join us for lunch on the first Tuesday of the month (September through May, at 11:30 a.m. This adult ministry provides a time of fellowship and speakers/programs as well as an opportunity to gather together for a meal.
Thursday, March 5th | 11:30am
Join us for this March Madness themed gathering on March 5th at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Danny Harnden, a sports and news anchor at Fox 8 WGHP, is coming to talk all things basketball. Lunch includes chili, baked potato bar, coleslaw and yummy desserts. Register before March 3rd to reserve your spot. You can register HERE, through the mobile app or by calling the church office. Don’t forget to invite a friend or neighbor to come with you! The cost is $5.00 per person.
Our mission focus for March is JUMC's ministry to serve those with dementia in our community--A Moment in Time. To help support this ministry, please bring a $5.00 gift card to one of these restaurants: Chick-Fil-A, Zaxby's, Starbucks, Wendy's, Burger King, Biscuitville.

Young at Heart but we add in day trips to local sites and restaurants in North
Carolina.

On The Move | Culp Planetarium | May 16th
The Culp Planetarium at High Point University uses powerful software that allows you to “fly through” 3D models of the human body, explore geological and other earth science demonstrations, and even execute virtual physics experiments. Join other senior adults from JUMC on a trip to Culp Planetarium on Thursday, May 16th at 10:00am. The experience is FREE but make sure you sign up so we can have a spot for you in the church van. Please invite your neighbors and friends on this educational trip!
The last day to register is Sunday, May 12.
