Children's Ministry
Welcome to the Jamestown Children’s Ministry. We are excited about God and thrilled to teach children about God. As your child spends time in our program they will learn the stories of God found in Scripture, fellowship with other children, worship in community, and serve others through mission and outreach events. And they’ll have lots of fun!

Safe Sanctuary
We are always interested in having more volunteers! If you would be interested in working within our Children's Ministry, we'd love to have you! Safe Sanctuary Training is required for all volunteers that work with our children and youth. This training ensures the safety, not only for our children, but our volunteers alike. Sunday Morning Child Care
Childcare is available from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm for children

Ongoing Kid's Activities

Every Sunday evening the JUMC children, ages 4 yrs. - 5th grade, meet for a time of fun, food, fellowship, singing, and learning. The evening begins with children’s choir, directed by Teresa Allred, where the children praise God as they learn worship songs along with hand motion.
Children's Choir
Children’s Choir meets following dinner. The choir is open for ages 4yrs. - 5th grade. We hope that all of our kids will continue to sing and help lead worship through song. We plan to sing in worship on several occasions throughout the year. As we begin to plan ahead, we’d love to know if your child plans to join Ms. Teresa this year in children’s choir. Every Sunday evening the JUMC children, ages 4 yrs. - 5th grade, meet for a time of fun, food, fellowship, singing and learning. They'll start the evening off with dinner. The students will have a Bible lesson where they will learn about the books of the Bible and the stories they tell us about God. After digging into Scripture there is free time for the children to enjoy playing games and hanging out with one another. We invite students to join in this fun-filled time. Children's Choir
As part of our "ROCK@5" program ministry, children ages 4 yrs. - 5th grade are invited to come for choir. Directed by Mrs. Teresa Allred, our children's choir sing, on occasion at the 10:55am service and at the Nine on Main services.
