Worship Services

We are so glad you’ve found us! At Jamestown United Methodist Church, we believe church is more than just a place to worship, it’s a family where people of all ages and walks of life come together to grow in faith, love, and service. Each Sunday, we gather for worship at 10:00 a.m., sharing in prayer, music, and a message that inspires us to live out God’s love in our daily lives.

Over the past months, our leaders have prayerfully reflected on how we worship as a church family. Through conversation, listening, and thoughtful discernment, we sought a way to strengthen our community, honor our shared values, and follow where God is leading. Your input, through Coffee with Council sessions, phone calls, emails, and personal conversations, was an important part of this journey, helping us see what matters most as a congregation.

As a result, we made the prayerful decision to continue with one worship service on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.. Since coming together as one service, we’ve seen renewed energy, deeper connections among our members, and growing involvement from youth and families. It’s been wonderful to experience the sense of community and shared purpose that comes from worshiping together as one church family.

We know that God is at work among us, and we are excited for the ways the Holy Spirit will continue to lead Jamestown UMC into this new season. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time, returning after time away, or simply looking for a place to belong, you are welcome here just as you are.
