All are welcome to join us this fall for a verse-by-verse study of the book of Joshua, led by video teaching from Jen Wilkin. The study begins Thursday, September 10, from 9:30am-11:30am in the Rooks room. Please join us whenever you are able. Participants may purchase the study guide from Lifeway, Christianbook, Amazon, or another bookseller.

The GriefShare ministry is a 13-week session that will resume on September 14. It has been beneficial to many of our members and their family members. This ministry is open to the community, as well. If you or someone you know is struggling with the loss of a loved-one, we invite you to join us. We meet Monday mornings from 9:30-11:00am. Refreshments will be available. The meetings are a combination of video and sharing/discussion. Each participant has a workbook. Sessions are led by Linda Stine, Sam Huffman, Susan Huffman, and Marilyn Yocum. Join us on Tuesday, September 15 from 1:30–3:30pm for our monthly Memory Café at Jamestown United Methodist Church. Memory Café is a welcoming space for individuals with dementia and their caregivers to relax, enjoy music and snacks, play games, and connect in a friendly, supportive environment. Ready to dive deeper into Scripture? Jamestown UMC is offering Disciple Bible Study, an immersive journey through the Bible designed to move beyond information toward transformation and deeper discipleship. Led by Rev. Dr. David Greene, the 12-session New Testament study begins Sunday, September 20, from 5:00–6:30 p.m. Participants will commit to daily reading, weekly group discussion, and active participation. Pre-registration, including books, is required by September 13. Meet with Pastor David on September 13 at noon following the Potluck Luncheon to receive your books and instructions. Join us for Game Day in the Fellowship Hall on September 22 from 11:00am–2:00pm! Everyone is invited for an afternoon of fellowship and fun as we play Mexican Train Dominoes and Rummikub. Feel free to bring a favorite game to share and teach others, and bring a bagged lunch if you’d like. Come for the whole time or drop in as your schedule allows!
Join us for an afternoon of fun, food, and friendly competition at Topgolf! We’ll spend the afternoon hanging out, playing games, and enjoying time together. Cost is $25/person and is non-refundable. Deadline to register is September 20.
