Login to ShelbyNext
SHELBYNEXT is our online portal for church members, which provides you with secure access to the church directory, your personal ‘profile’ and your personal contribution history. The ShelbyNext Portal also allows you to update your information, upload your picture, and connect with other members.
The ShelbyNext Portal is accessible exclusively to church members who have a valid email address that matches the one in our database. Rest assured that your personal data is secure. By default, the only information that is shared between members is your immediate contact information (i.e. Name, Email, and Address). You can set restrictions on what you would like viewed as well who can view the information.
If you, as a JUMC member, have registered for an event through the mobile app you already have access to the directory through that avenue.
To access the directory through the website, “Click here” below. If you are signing in for the first time, enter the email address you have on file and click “forgot password.” You will receive an email providing login credentials and a link to login. Once you are in your profile, you will be able to change your password.
First Steps in ShelbyNext
Verify the information we have for you is correct.
Once you login to ShelbyNext, the first page will be the overview page. Click the “My Info” button to view your profile. If you need to make changes to your personal info, click on the pencil in the top right corner.
Type your new information in each field that needs to be modified. You can also upload a small picture of yourself at this time as well.
Click on the “Save” button at the bottom when you are finished.

While editing your profile, you can choose a picture from your computer. Note: This picture will be visible to everyone you’ve approved to view your profile. Focus on a picture of your face only. Please remember a Facebook profile pic may or may not be appropriate for your church profile.
If making edits to your profile while on the mobile app, you can add a picture from your phone or you can take one with your camera at that time.
Access your giving history and statements.
Once you log in, click “My Giving” on the left side of the page to access your giving history. You can also download and print your quarterly and annual statements!
