Welcome to JUMP
Welcome to Jamestown United Methodist Preschool. We’ve been a part of Jamestown United Methodist Church since 1958.
JUMP is a quality half-day preschool program with a dedicated and qualified staff who nurture children in a safe and loving Christian environment. We strive to provide them with a multitude of learning experiences promoting their development at age-appropriate levels, helping them grow:
- physically
- intellectually
- socially
- emotionally
- spiritually
We meet them where they are and strive to build from there.
Tuition Rates for Fall 2025
Tuition is due monthly at the first of the month beginning in September. Tuition is accepted in a variety of ways: cash, check, automatic draft from a bank account, automatic payment from a credit/debit card (+3% fee) or by POS terminal in the preschool office. Tuition may be paid from the 1st until the 15th of the month. On the 16th, it is considered late.
1/2s, 2s & 3s
(Our 3 year old classes are offered 3, 4 or 5 days only. Not 2)
2 day a week $190 per month
3 days a week $220 per month
4 days a week $270 per month
5 days a week $300 per month
4s & 4/5s
4 days a week $270 per month
5 days a week $300 per month
Hours
1/2s, 2s and 3s: Mon.-Fri. 9:00 -12:00 noon daily.
4s & 4/5s: Mon.-Wed. 9:00am – 1:00pm; Thurs. & Fri. 9:00am – 1:00pm.
Lunch Bunch is offered beginning in October from 12:00 – 1:00pm on Thursdays.
JUMP operates their school year beginning the Tuesday after Labor Day and ends
the Friday before Memorial Day.
Various holidays, inclement weather and workdays are observed in conjunction
with Guilford County Schools.

Registration
Enrollment is on a first come first served basis.

A non-refundable registration fee of $85 for the first child and $75 for siblings is due at the time of registration each year. Tuition is charged monthly.
Your child must be fully vaccinated according to North Carolina Pediatric guidelines in order to be enrolled at JUMP. A completed vaccination form from your pediatrician’s office can be emailed or handed to the director.
For our Toddler class, children must be 1 on or before August 31st, able to walk and drink from a sippy cup to be registered in this class.
Children in the 2, 3 and 4 year old class must be the age of the class they are registering for on or before August 31st of that school year.
Children in the 4/5 class must be 5 by December 15th and/or meet screening requirements.
Children in the 3, 4 and 4/5 classes should be completely potty trained and able to independently use the restroom and ask for help if needed.
Home and School Connection
JUMP believes that communication between home and school is very important and that by working together, we can provide the best possible experience for you and your child.
Parents are welcome to become involved and share their talents with us as well as help with numerous events, holiday celebrations, field trips, field day, Scholastic Book Fair and other activities throughout the year.
